Bee Gee Singer Robin Gibb Battling Pneumonia and in Coma

We feel for the Bee Gees. We know the brothers had been battling many of the same health issues in the past and now its catching up to him. We pray for full restoration for the band member.

Read report below:

Bee Gee Robin Gibb is in a coma, after battling pneumonia. His family are keeping a close vigil on the musician, who is reported near death. Gibb is reportedly in a private hospital in London.

Gibb’s health had been in steady decline in 2010 following emergency surgery to treat a blocked bowel. Further surgery to treat a twisted bowel was also required.

Robin Gibb was diagnosed with colon cancer after the surgery, which spread to his liver. Last month he announced that he was in remission from the disease. Doctors believe that Gibb, 62, has a secondary tumor, his representative Doug Wright said.

Gibb’s twin brother and band mate, Maurice had died nine years ago at the age of 53 years old from the same condition. In addition, his brother Andy died at age 30 in 1988 from a heart infection.
