Although, Bishop Eddie Long got caught up in a previous sex scandal, we must be honest about how God once used him to prophesy about what was to come against African Americans, if they did not totally submit themselves to God. His prophecy was caught on a video series called, ‘There Remains A lot of Land to Possess’. This was recorded around year 2001 when Bishop Eddie Long moved his church, New Birth Missionary Baptist into a new facility. God really used Bishop Eddie Long at one time and we must reveal the truth here at Sanctified Church Revolution blog, regardless of what alleged sexual affairs was against him. God had spoken to Bishop Eddie Long about the rebellion of African Americans and he forewarned African Americans, if they did not obey and serve God, in about 8 years, they would face such racial discrimination similar to during the times of Dr. Martin Luther King and we are now witnessing his prophecy coming to past in 2012. Furthermore, we want to say, we pray Bishop Eddie Long goes back to his spiritual roots and really allow God to use him in a time such as this one, because if God used Him back then to forewarn black people, He can certainly use Him now. This is a time we need true prophets whom are living upright in complete holiness to guide black people into a lifestyle of righteousness. Although, we highly respect how God once used Bishop Eddie Long to forewarn African Americans, we do not think hip-hop gospel or christian rock will be strong enough to fight demons of racial discrimination.

I love the line, “racism is getting worse in spite of all the interracial marriages”. We think we can marry or sex our way into this demonic society. We need to love ourselves first.
But, back to topic. I remember when Eddie Long made the video, “The Five Gods America Worships”. It cannot be denied that Eddie Long had the gift of prophecy. But, he did what so many gifted do: he did not submit to the will of God. He did not realize the burden on him. He did not realize that he had to remain totally in the spirit. But no, he tried to cohabitate God and the devil and he went up in flames. And any message he has, going forward, will be ignored.
You are so right; we are under siege as a people. Yet, we chase the white man, white woman, gossip columns, hollywierd, thug rap, “alternative lifestyles”. Slavery is but a race riot away and we are too brainwashed into believing that a biracial president and beyonce make a post-racial society. We will learn.
Hello Mimi, yes we are glad you recall Bishop Eddie Long did once have a gift of prophecy. It is so sad how the Devil has deceived so many men and women of God and now as we face this great wave of racism in America. There needs to be a return to complete holiness and righteousness in many churches, not just preached from the pulpits, but lived among those whom are ministers who preach from the pulpits. It is time for Bishop Eddie Long and many others to repent allow God to use them in such an evil time as it is today. No longer should these preachers seek fame and fortune by growing mega ministries, but they should seek God by attracting more souls into God’s Kingdom and we are yet fasting and praying for that to happen. God bless you and remain strong in Him.
