Pastors Mentored By Bishop Earl Paulk Allegedly Carried The Torch of Scandal [Part 3]
We want to thank you all for being patient with us on this series we started late last year.
We have been alerted to two more pastors who have been under the leadership of the late Bishop Earl Paulk. We received an email from members of a church that were concerned about their pastor. Apparently they were doing research on their pastor, Gino Zalunardo and found our series: Pastors Mentored By Bishop Earl Paulk May Have Carried A Torch of Scandal. They told us in the email that they were concerned about the recent exposure of multiple affairs by Pastor Gino Zalunardo and wanted to know if we were going to cover him in the following part of this next series. We did not know of Zalunardo or Randy Puckett, whom they stated was coming in to ‘save the church’, as they called it. But with careful research we have found information about them both and informed our source immediately as they may have some legitimate concerns about their former and present pastors.
The concern with the two men would be that they have both been mentored by Bishop Earl Paulk. This sets the stage for the entire story of course and will reveal yet another torch of scandal handed down just as we reported in Part one and two of this series.
We found some interesting information while researching about Gino Zalunardo and Randy Puckett for the members of Gino’s church with concerns about the leadership there.
A writer on the I Am For Sure site, reported this about Gino Zalunardo and what his members were revealing about the ministry in Nov. 2011:
I have been receiving emails over the past few weeks from many former members of Kings Pasture Community Church. All of these former members have told me similar accounts of what is taking place there with regards to Gino allegedly having had an affair with one of the members.
The writer stated that Gino had stepped down briefly for only one week while Randy Puckett took over as head pastor. He even proves our point of the connection and alleged spell Paulk placed on almost every protege’ he has mentored.
Based on what I have read, Gino has exhibited the same pattern of manipulation with at least one individual for his own sexual gratification that Earl Paulk was well known for. And in case you were unsure about Gino’s connections to Earl Paulk, it was reported that a meeting recently took place with the congregation in support of Gino’s return to leadership with Kirby Clements and Dan Rhodes in attendance, lending their full support.
If you haven’t figured out by now, the website we have been referencing exposes false teachers in the church. The writer of an open letter in response to Gino explains in it that he is listed on the site because he is a false teacher. Again, he proves our point of Earl Paulk’s tainted spirit on many of those who followed him by stating:
“The decision to include your name was based on your association with Earl Paulk, Chapel Hill Harvester Church in Decatur, and other former pastors of that ministry. This decision was not based on the allegations of sexual misconduct by Earl Paulk, but because of the teachings that were promoted by the ministry, primarily, Kingdom Now/Dominion Theology, and other Word of Faith teachings…”
The writer further explains his history as a former member of the former Chapel Hill Harvester Church in Decatur, Georgia under the leadership of guess who… Bishop Earl Paulk. We admire the writer’s boldness as to ask both pastors Gino Zalunardo and Randy Puckett to admit their faults and bombards them with a detailed questionnaire to submit about their background. (Please read it FYI)
UPDATE on March 27, 2012: The writer at the above website has removed the content about Gino Zalunardo and Randy Puckett for their own reasons.
Read on Earl Paulk’s teachings called Kingdom Now theology.
Unfortunately, we were not able to find any information on the affairs of Pastor Gino but we are sure it was hurting enough for the people of the church to know their pastor was a deceiving them all.
The bad thing about all of this is whenever we receive email messages or calls from members of churches under the leadership of false teachers and prophets, it is very disheartening to us. Our staff as a whole have been members of churches with false prophets and pulpit pimps. We know what it feels like to be deceived by a man or woman of God that truly only wants one of three things:
- Our minds and/or
- Our money and/or
- Our bodies
We are sorry that is stated so frankly but if we are honest with ourselves, it is true for those who have experienced it.
Please Stay tuned for Part 4.
