Three Women in Brawl At Pastor Frank Ray’s Church Are Confirmed, Says Report

We posted an update earlier about a church brawl at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis, TN headed by Pastor Frank E. Ray that occurred on Dec. 5th. News reports stated at first that two women were in a fist fight near the choir stand on this particular Sunday. Some folks who claim to know more stated the First Lady was involved in the brawl which we stated was speculation in the first article we posted. This news was quoted from News Channel 3  at WREG.com for those who need to know.

Now news reports coming from another news station Action News 5 at WMCTV.com have more detailed information with names and the actual victim and suspect accounts of what they say happened.  The police report stated three women were involved as: Terry Bell, Beverly Milam and Charra Lumpkin.

Watch full report on video below:

Also, WREG stated on Dec. 11th church resumed on this following Sunday after the brawl broke out. The members at the church stated the service was peaceful despite the fight the previous Sunday.

One church member was quoted telling News Channel 3 that the police report did not tell the accurate story of what really happened that Sunday.

“Church was officially over.” said Scott. This confirms earlier accounts that said the pastor had already left the church before the fight.

“It’s about the word. Other people’s actions don’t impact me. I just pray for them and hope things get better. I got to work on me. We all have something to tell God about.” said Scott.

She’s praying for peace both outside and inside the building News Channel 3 was not allowed to go in during service.
