Family of Murdered Tayshana Murphy Reveal Contradictions in Why She Died, Funeral Details Included
Tayshana “Chicken” Murphy’s relatives invited the families and friends of two suspects in her murder to a public meeting Thursday intended to prevent further gun violence.
“We are going to call Manhattanville and tell them the war must stop,” said Jackie Rowe Adams, a friend of the family.
“There was so much blood. We were sure there was no saving her,” said Murphy’s sister Tanasia Williams, who ran to her sister minutes after she was shot. “Her eyes were wide open … My baby died with her eyes open,” she said, her voice breaking with emotion.
Williams denied her sister had any involvement with the feud.
“My sister was not in a gang. She was just at the wrong place at the wrong time,” she said.
Contrary to the ‘rumors’, Williams calls them, she said their brother was not involved in a fight that led the Manhattanville Houses crew to retaliate.
“Her murder had nothing to do with her brother,” Williams said. “Some kids from my neighborhood got into an earlier altercation with people and they were coming back to fight.”

You know why people from Harlem hated the project people so much? Because the project people were low-lives who were brought into Harlem to destroy it. Murder, rape, robbery, etc.
They succeeded for the white masters, but they are still in Harlem and the decent hardworking Brownstone owners, roomers, tenement dwellers are gone.
Harlem is about 65% white.
They won’t dare touch a hair on the head of a white person, so all that hate, jealousy, rage and godlessness that are in them is now being turned inwards.
They kill each other out of worship to the white man and their self-hatred.
Anyone mad about what I said, and want to come at me, a former Harlemite, bring it!
Mimi, We understand fully. History repeating itself over and over.
