Kierra “KiKi” Sheard Videos: Should Every Gospel Artist Be Preaching?

Now, we bring up this issue with Kierra “KiKi” Sheard, because she is the daughter of Bishop Drew Sheard and First Lady Karen Clark Sheard, also the granddaughter of the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark who was such a dynamic woman in the gospel music industry.    Dr. Mattie Moss Clark was not just a singer, but she also was a magnificent choir director.    Then, after the late Bishop John Seth Bailey died, Dr. Moss supposedly took over Bailey Temple Church of God in Christ where she was also the minister of music until she departed in 1994.

Strange thing, especially in the black church, it seems as though everyone wants to be chief, meaning everyone who has a history of someone being a popular person in ministry, has to have a flock within one family doing the same thing.   We feel God shakes his head when he see it, because there are so many other things to do in ministry, instead of always wanting to be seen in the pulpit or carry on the tradition within a family.

One thing, we cannot understand when we were sent this video from one of our readers, revealing Ki Ki Sheard supposedly preaching in the pulpit, we asked among our fellow journalists, ‘how can one be called into ministry when they have not separated themselves from the world?’  Many in the Clark/Sheard family among many others in the black church and gospel music industry have to repent for following the ways of the world while claiming to be holiness people.   God is not pleased with it and we strongly feel in our spirits, so much work could be done outside of just giving God’s Word behind a pulpit.   For the longest, we have known Dorinda Clark Sheard was an evangelist, then soon, Karen Clark Sheard popped up preaching as though she had a call from God.   Then, we thought, she is among a lot of first ladies in the black church who are not just satisfied being a first lady and also a gospel artist…Read full article.

Hmm…I just don’t know. Is it fair to say she doesn’t need to be preaching because she’s a Gospel artist? What about regular ordinary everyday saints who have duo or triple talents/anointings? That’s like saying Marvin Winans shouldn’t be preaching because HE’s a Gospel artist. Now, it saddened and disappoints me to see that she sang at a gay club. She shouldn’t be singing or preaching anything after that. And I also think that the comment about her looking “butch” in the MaryMary video was…a little judgemental. She was just wearing street clothes. But that’s besides the point. I mean, yes. There are attention whores who just NEED…

Mr. Mosby, part of your comment was deleted due to violation of AT2W policy. Furthermore, based on the part we accepted, we would like to touch basis on your opinion. We feel you are in error, because you must have not read our entire article. The article written about KiKi Sheard was not based just on the fact that she is a gospel artist, but also on the fact that several members of her family have held titles as ordained ministers; therefore, in our opinion not every family member is called to preach as not every family member has the gift to sing. Therefore, everyone in a family does not have duo or triple talents and/or anointings, a lot of it is to make more money and to gain status and popularity and God is tired of it. The same thing goes for Marvin Winans, in regards of you mentioning his name. Also, in our opinion she does appear to masculine and Mary Mary do not look holy, which we suppose was your statement about appearing like whores. ‘The Bible says this, Let everything be done decently and in order (I Cor. 14:40).’ That scripture goes for KiKi, her mother Karen, the entire Clark Sisters, including the majority of the gospel music industry. Therefore, as for you to say the article is judgmental, you are in error, we are in full agreement with God’s Word and not of this world. This hip hop gospel is not of talent or of God’s anointing, according to I John 2: 15, which says: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Therefore, everything we write is based on pure Bible principles of complete holiness and righteousness. Hope this has been a help to you. Keep reading AT2W and God bless you.

What is up with this picture of her. The one eye look is looking very illuminati’ish. I have to be honest I truly discern a spirit of homosexuality lurking through her and it’s disturbing to know that these unclean people who called themselves Christians are contaminating and speaking over peoples lives, so so disturbing.

That’s why we need to pray and really seek the Lord as to who we need to be listening to. I met her when she was 15 a few years ago she seem like a nice kid, her mother was also there. I was not able to interact with the mother not for any reason in particular but now that I look back I see that the Lord did not want me mingling with spiritually unclean people.
