As children of God, which is worst or even better in His eyes, a woman who remains faithful to her man after he has been humiliated by past scandals or a woman who decides to divorce her husband after he is brought to justice and faced by scandal? We must evaluate these two circumstances, so that women will know exactly what to do if her husband should be caught by his own sinful accusations. The body of Christ should no longer see any more scandals in the media; however, if it should occur, does a woman have a right to turn her back on her husband or remain with him? Therefore, in the case of First Lady Vanessa Long since we discovered by a spokesperson of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, it was false, she never left Bishop Eddie Long, the question came up among our journalists. Why? Because another wife of a former televangelist allegedly divorced her husband, after they both were caught stealing thousands of dollars and not reporting their taxes by buying property, luxury cars and expensive items in the names of their church members and that couple was no other than Dr. Shine and Claudette “Dee Dee” Freeman.
Of course, we did think it was awfully strange for First Lady Vanessa Long to allegedly act as though she was never aware of any homosexual affairs with her husband, Bishop Eddie Long; however, we feel since she did accept her vows to remain married ’til death do her part’ to Bishop Long, she has revealed her courageous strength as a woman to remain with him. As far as we know, she is staying with Bishop Eddie Long, even after many of their members have left the church and now it appears he may lose the church property. First Lady Long is enduring the shame and disgrace with her husband and although the Word of God informs any spouse he or she has the right to divorce, if their husband or wife has been caught in adultery. We have heard she is not going to turn her back on him, allegedly. Is this a good thing? Yes it is, because although she has an option, she is revealing what most women do not have and that is to be forgiving, long-suffering and loyal to the man she exchanged vows with at the altar. In order to keep marriages in the body of Christ strong, we need more first ladies like First Lady Vanessa Long, especially during a time when Satan is turning ministers to same sex marriages.
Now, Pastor Claudette “Dee Dee” Freeman is another story. Her ex-husband, Robert “Shine” Freeman
was in trouble before for the same accusations, see our prior article, here. In 2002, the Freeman’s already had court judgments totaling more than $900,000, so this was not the first time Pastor Claudette Freeman had faced scandal with her ex-husband Robert Freeman, according to Save the Seed Ministry Factnet Forum. We feel it is much worst for her to have turned her back on her husband, after they both were about to face the law, again. We feel she only divorced him, because she chose to testify against him and did not want to face any jail time for her part in their joint criminal activities, after they both were caught this time. Therefore, it is much worst to turn your back on your man after being a partner in crime for so long and witnessing him being arrested for obstruction of justice. Now, after Robert Freeman has been arrested, Claudette aka Dee Dee has gone on as a single woman in the ministry, possibly to make more millions of dollars in the future.
As you can observe, the differences between the two situations, you must recognize God expects for wives to remain married to their husbands in the ministries in an era when homosexuality is taking over our churches. In a case of adultery, God does understand divorce, according to His Word, but admire First Lady Vanessa Long’s strength and humility during a time when many people have turned their backs on her husband. It would be nice to see more women being more role models as first ladies, so that women can see what it is like to serve God, rather than giving into lesbianism or continuing their lives as single women who have joined the feminist movement, publicly disrespecting men and refusing to trust a man, ever again. In both situations, if we assume they both knew about their husbands errors of any sort for so many years, then they should remain faithful until the end.

You know, we are in a bad place when one cannot run to the House of God, the place where His Spirit dwells to heal, deliver and set free because of the the leadership in the pulpit!!! I have grown so weary of these people, to say the least! THE CHURCH DOES NOT BELONG TO MAN, ANY MAN!!!!! And when I say this, it includes women as well! The church to me is a hospital, where people come to be healed because of the battles of life, to be delivered and set free from the ravages of sin, etc., not to be judged by these folks who should be showing them the Love of Christ, which is what they don’t have, so they shouldn’t be in leadership!
Hello Apostle Yates, you are so right, the church belongs to God, no man or woman. It is time for the church to seek God more than every before,
because there are too many souls yet going to hell on a daily basis. There is no time for lack of real men and women of God in the pulpit, so this is
indeed very serious business in the Kingdom of God and those who take it lightly, they will face judgment, later. Too many souls are being lost
in the church, because the leaders are lost and don’t even know it. God bless you and keep reading AT2W.
Dear AT2W,
I believe that our God has begun a weeding out process, if you will! These folks are costing the Kingdom big time and that is part of the reason as to why the world just don’t take Christian folks seriously and don’t look at us some people that they would like to be a part of!! They see us as no different than what they see in the world!! I believe that God is not going to wait until judgment day to get these people out of His pulpits, He’s getting these people out right now!! The cost of letting them stay is too great. He’s preparing the remnant now!!!!!!!!!
Yes, Apostle Yates, you are so correct. God is weeding out these false prophets and in the past 10 years, we have even seem then go into judgment, just
like Bishop Earthquake Kelley God told him would happen. He said ministers are going to start dropping dead in their pulpits for being disobedient. God is
not playing with these people and if they don’t get it right, they are going into judgment, because they are not living how He wants them to live while preaching the
Word of God. There are testimonies of people who died and saw ministers burning in eternal hell and damnation, pleading to get out. This spiritual walk with God is very serious.
