Facebook Used by Woman to Solicit Hitman Against Her Child’s Father

A Philadelphia woman, London Eley, 20, allegedly went to Facebook, a popular social network, in order to solicit a hitman on her ex-boyfriend and father of her child. The reports state she wanted a hitman to kill her ex-boyfriend.

According to the authorities, Eley posted this message on her Facebook wall:

“I will pay somebody a stack to kill my baby father.” Translation: “I’ll pay somebody $1,000 to kill the father of my child.”

A man named Timothy Bynum, 18, took Eley up on her offer and responded on his Facebook wall in ghetto code:

“Say no more,” “what he look like?” “where he be at,” “need dat stack 1st” and “ima mop that bull.”

Translation: “Pay me first and I’ll kill him.”

One news report said: The intended target, Corey Jerome White was told by his mother, she saw London’s status and the messages on Facebook. Shortly after that, the authorities got involved and arrests were made.

The Gawker reported: When police arrived at Bynum’s home, they found a loaded .22-caliber handgun with the serial number shaved off. Bynum was arrested on attempted murder and conspiracy charges. Eley was charged with solicitation to commit murder. Both face long prison sentences, as they should.

London was arrested on June 10, charged with conspiracy to commit murder, and is being held on $250,000 vail. Bynum was arrested two days later, charged with attempted murder and a weapons charge, and is currently being held on $350,000 bail.
