This has been a big issue not discussed much in the (black) church. Many bitter souls of victims who have heard messages almost every Sunday that oppose homosexuality are molested by the messenger, whether it be man or woman.   Pastors, bishops, even evangelists have been guilty of hurting many men and women while go so far to even embarrass and humiliate them in front of the church, in order to hide their sexual transgressions they enjoyed with them in private. This is one of the main reasons why gay and lesbian advocates refuse to believe what the scriptures say about homosexuality, it is a sin and an abomination in the eyes of God; of course, we are not saying this is an excuse to ignore God’s law, what we are saying is that this matter has caused a lot of people to turn away from the church and a lot of bitterness has ruined their lives, because they have been harassed to be silenced about their sexual experiences, sort of like the situation with Bishop Eddie Long.   Bishop Eddie Long is a perfect example of how ministers preach the truth, opposing homosexuality while indulging and enjoying the sin behind close doors and damaging the innocent minds of young men (and women).   When the victims are honest and confess how they were molested, the usual reaction of the minister and his followers is to resent and humiliate them as though they are the homosexual and the molestor is not.

For many years, the issue of homosexuality has been a debate within the church and there are many victims who are confused and have yielded to the desires of their flesh, because they received a mixed message.  In a lot of cases many victims who were molested never was touched by the same sex until the minister seduced them.  Let us be clear, they did not know what it was like to have a sexual experience with the same sex until they were introduced by their pastor, bishop or evangelist.   This hurts God when these victims walk away from Him, because of their discreet sexual experiences and having to hear sermons that oppose homosexuality, possibly on the following church service.   These victims hear church members cheering their pastor on as he or she cracks jokes about same sex partners, then the scenes of their sexual experience with their pastor causes them much anguish.  This, my friend has happened time and time, again and it needs to stop, because God does not like when innocent men and women get turned out by these ministers and have trouble obeying His Word, afterward.   The minister who preach against homosexuality is just as bad as the ones who preach that it is okay to be that way while refuting the Word of God.  For instance, Bishop Eddie Long is no different than the lesbian bishop of San Francisco, Yvette Flunder (who yet brags about how she was influenced by the late Bishop Walter Hawkins who taught it was okay to be a homosexual).  We are not saying that Flunder has been accused of child molestation like Bishop Eddie Long, what we are saying is that it is wrong to oppose God’s law that is against homosexuality and it is no different than the hypocrite who preaches against it. Too many people are bitter and rejecting God’s law, all because they are deceived either through sexual manipulation by ministers who oppose homosexuality or even those who support it.

Another sad thing, a lot of men and women who have been molested in the past by ministers who have suffered a sexually transmitted disease like AIDS and they had no faith for God to heal them, like with the situation with the late Bishop J.D. Husband, a COGIC bishop of Marietta, Georgia who molested a young man while being married to his wife.  When Husband died a lot of his friends who are also big shot bishops did not attend his funeral, because they were afraid they could also be infected with AIDS as they were also down low bishops who had wives and children, read it for yourself at ReportCOGICAbuse.com.

This is for ministers who preach against homosexuality, but secretly indulge in the sin while confusing the minds of their victims and this is also for openly gay and lesbian ministers who also could be guilty of molesting their followers, please read the following scriptures:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 – “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Leviticus 18:22 – “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.”

Leviticus 20:13 – “If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”

Romans 1:26-27 – “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”

Why is it so important for us to inform you that homosexuality is wrong in the eyes of God?  Mary K. Baxter was taken to hell by Jesus Christ for 30 nights and she witnessed a lake of fire for gays and lesbians among other lakes of fires, especially created for certain sinners.
