What is this world of Black in America coming to? A pentecostal evangelist keeps his wife body in the freezer since 2004. This-is definitely weird. Anthony Hopkins, 37, was preaching at Inspirational Tabernacle Church of God in Christ where Evangelist Beverly Jackson is the Pastor. Hopkins was invited as a guest speaker for the church’s revival. Before his arrest, Investor, Sgt. Ron Baggett could hear him preaching for one hour about forgiveness.

A relative called the police on Hopkins and while police investigators were searching his home, they accidentally found his wife’s corpse in the utility room’s freezer. The relative had reported Evangelist Hopkins for sodomy and incest, which was the original reason for the investigators searching Hopkins home.

Pastor Jackson said his wife died during child birth, so she felt sorry for him and allowed him to preach. She was shocked to discover why he was being arrested.

Smalltime Evangelist Hopkins was well known among other minister in Alabama and people that knew his wife said she was a Texas native, but had family in Georgia.

UPDATE: Now, 39 years old, Anthony Hopkins was arrested for the crimes due to one of his stepchildren, whom he allegedly molested, led them to the grave of her mother. The stepdaughter was one of six children Hopkins and his wife had together. The police records indicate that Hopkins killed his wife after catching him having sex with her daughter, who was pregnant with his child at that time!!

The stepdaughter is now 21 years old and told the court that she was molested from age 11 years old to year 2008. Hopkins cleverly used  mental and biblical manipulation to justify the sexual abuse but made her promise not to tell a soul about it.

In court, she explained how she she heard her mother being murdered and her screams for help to her children to call the police. She explained during the trial that she as confused is why she had not called the police for help. The witness now recalls that she took her 1 month old sister into the bathroom to hide from Hopkins after seeing their mother on the floor gasping for breath. Hopkins allegedly begged the stepdaughter to help him as he apologized for what he had done to her mother.

She continues to state that she helped Hopkins bury her mother’s body in a remote area but then dig it up again to later help stuff the body into a freezer. Hopkins did not want dogs to dig up the body so he purchased a freezer to bury not only his wife’s body but his dirty deeds as well.

Hopkins is facing life in prison if convicted.
