Mo’Nique Outs Her Open Marriage to Barbara Walters

We all know that Mo’ Nique has been married 3 times and now to her 4 year marriage to childhood friend and business partner, Sidney Hicks- more on this in a moment.
Mo’ Nique was on the Barbara Walters Oscar show this past weekend. She confidently spoke about how she knew she would be nomimated for an Oscar and many other awards. She boldly stated, ” I always knew I would be in this position. If I didn’t think I could, then why be in the game?”
She also goes on to discuss how her brother sexually abused her from age 7 to 15 years old.
But the biggest news ever that many people already know about is: She is very proud of her marriage to Sid, as her cuddly calls him and it being an “open marriage”.
She says just because they are attracted to someone else and ’happened’ to have sex with that person, doesn’t mean that they will pack their bags and depart from the marriage. She says if its 2o times, it wouldn’t matter. “I’m very secure with my husband”, she says.
Though I know this is the “in” thing to do in Hollywood, it just seems to me that a woman like herself being married twice before, just would not tolerate nor approve of this. She’s almost a poster child for this swinging movement in the entertainment business.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have openly discussed their “open marriage as well.
I think its disqusting and that women and men would tolerate this. I think its weak and shows the insecurity not security of women because many men want this but waiting for the right women to accept this. But on the other hand, I think this is an excuse to allow wifes and husbands to do whatever they want and to practice alternative lifestyles as well.
