Former President Bill Clinton had to get two tents placed in his clogged heart to open a heart artery. This treatment is much different from what he had in 2004, when clogged arteries first caused him to be hospitalized. He had quadruple bypass surgery because of four blocked arteries, some of which had squeezed almost closed.
His adviser, Doug Band says he is good spirits is in good spirits and will continue to focus on the work of his foundation and Haiti’s relief and long-term recovery efforts.
