Country Singer Garth Brooks, a proud native of Yukon, Oklahoma is suing Integris Canadian Valley Regional hospital for a half a million dollars. He made a donation to the hospital in an agreement that they build an extension named after his mother, Colleen who died from cancer in 1999.
Integris launched a $27 million expansion and renovation project last year, but not in memory of the late mother of Garth Brooks. The hospital clams it is all a misunderstanding and say they can only discuss the matter in court. However, the representatives of the hospital say they have done all they could do to promote Garth Brooks and he is obviously not grateful for it. They say his name should be removed from the street signs and water tower.
