How could America ignore one of the world’s greatest comebacks this year: Ms. Whitney Houston, for a Grammy?

I just want to know how she not only didn’t get a Grammy but there was no announcement of a nomination at all.

I just don’t understand it. How was she snubbed out of even one Grammy Award.

Let’s just look at Whitney for a minute. She had not made an album in 7 years and a hit album longer than that. She finally left her husband, bad boy Bobby Brown, 2 years ago. She has made a beautiful new start for her life. She took the advice of music label producer, Clive Davis and made a comeback that the world can not deny her credit for.

So why didn’t anyone in Hollywood recognize a woman who changed her life, made an extraordinary comeback and has reached platinum status for her album, I Look to You

Whitney’s facebook page states: “Congratulations to Whitney and all of her fans! ‘I Look to You’ has been certified Platinum by the RIAA for sales in excess of 1 million units in the United States.”

“I Look to You” is also No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It literally sold over 300,000 copies in its first week and over 1 million copies as of this week, again making it ‘gone platinum’.

So I say again, “Why was Whitney Houston snubbed at the Grammys?” Well, there are probably many reasons but one obvious one is when strength shines and no traces of being ‘sold out’ to get there, is all that needs to be said.  What a rip?
