former_miss_argentina_dies0091Time and time again, there are horror stories of women who have had plastic surgery and many have died to go through the process of changing the beauty they were born with.  Fortunately, the ex-wife of the pop star, Usher survived after almost dying in Brazil, after having plastic surgery, but others are not so lucky, Kanye West mother, Donda died of surgical complications in November of 2007.  Many women have had bad experiences with doctors who have flawed them for life and when these flaws are publicized it seems as though women never learn their lesson, they yearn to change themselves to appear like celebrities or please the expectations of America, young with European features.  However, there are consequences and many times, they are very detrimental to those who risk transformation.

Solange Magnano, 37, died Sunday, after having surgery on her buttocks.  In 1994, she was crowned as Miss Argentina.  The mother of 7-year-old twins operated own modeling agency in Argentina.  Her death is being investigated by authorities, but as usual, no one would be the blame, most likely similar to Donda West’s death; for it may be difficult to prove anyone at fault, because of a personal choice to have surgery and physician’s usually expect patients to sign a document stating their maybe a risk, during or after plastic surgery or any other operation.

It is sad to learn that Argentina known as the capitol of plastic surgery, a very popular and inexpensive place for such services.  Statistics reveal 1 in 30 Argentines have had plastic surgery.

These following questions is raised from us, when are women all over the world going to learn to be happy with their God-given beauty?  When will women get learn from other women who did not survive after dying and risking their lives having plastic surgery?  When will women recognize they are beautiful, regardless of this world’s prejudice against certain looks and features?  Lastly, is there ever going to come a time when plastic surgery will no longer be popular?
