black_women_in_jail_prison_female_inmatesThere are many decent citizens who may have committed a crime in their past lifetime and not know how to start over again.  People who have been labeled as criminals in our society can be successful in whatever they choose to do in life, regardless of the their criminal history.  A convicted felon should not have to repeat their crimes of earning an illegal income when they are discharged from prison, a lot of them do, simply because it is difficult for them to find a job.  Many employers are mostly the blame for the problems within our society, because they judge job prospects based on their work history and criminal background, they do not believe in reformation and will hold one accountable for their past mistakes.  No, they are not responsible for the choices of criminals, but again, they are responsible when they judge a person’s character based on their past behaviors.  People change and they can make good choices once they get another chance to be free in our society.  Some inmates deserve another chance at life, because they are innocent, some who are guilty of any crime they committed should also get another chance.  If we expect things to change in our society, then, we should not judge convicted felons for the rest of their lives based on their past, but teach them how to become a successful individual, so if and when they are discharged, they can help someone else.

men_inmates_criminals_get_jobs2029Success is not just for people who have never be prison inmates.  Success is for anyone who want it.  Many people within our American society are selfish, they do not want to share success with people who have once been inmates.  We live in an extremely judgmental society, where people have various sorts of prejudice.  Prejudice is just not racial discrimination, ageism, sexual preference or against those who are overweight, but a prejudice person can judge a person based on their background.  It maybe the law to check an individual’s criminal background, but-it is wrong for companies to make it mandatory not to hire ex-convicts, because they cause them to be bitter and return to criminal activity.  Regardless of a convicted felon’s criminal history, it is possible for them to become very successful leaders.  When they refuse to focus on society’s expectations of failure, they have the ability to be more successful than those who may not have had a criminal record.  Although, it is very difficult for prison inmates to persevere when they are discharged from prison, they must learn to plan a better life, even if they may have a difficult time getting employed by corporate America.  In the prison system, it would be a good thing to have a program that prepares prisoners for success.  If they exist, they are not many, because many felons prison_inmates_find_jobswho have ceased prison have admitted how difficult it is to find a job and when they do, they do not keep it for long, if they fail to admit their past offense.

Prison inmates need program that will teach them how to become successful when they leave the prison system. If they get discharged from prison, they need jobs, so they will not illegally earn income, but find a good job that will assist them to live a comfortable lifestyle.  People who have committed past offenses do not always want to be labeled criminals, but desire to feel equal within our society.  Therefore, it would help if their are people who care about their relative and/or friends who have been incarcerated to not only create jobs and programs designed to assist them, but even convicted felons they do not know.  Programs for reformed citizens should include a list of employers who have met with directors of the program to make positions available for convicted felons who cease the prison system.  There needs to be job opportunities that pay a decent salary that would discourage them to earn illegal funds or possibly to steal from their employers.

people_in_prison_inmates_can_be_successfulThis is how convicted felons can become successful people when they are discharged from prison. Often times, there are no programs in support of convicted felons who have served time in prison, so individuals who get another chance at freedom must first condition their minds to acknowledge they are still human are have the same capabilities as anyone else, regardless of limitations for rehabilitation programs.  If this is you or you know someone who has been incarcerated, this is a blueprint for success, began to live your life as though you have never done anything wrong.  Forgive yourself, even if no one else forgives you.  You see, you must first psychologically prepare your mind and spirit for success and realize you only have an option to succeed and failure is never an option and all past failures are dead.  You must began to ignore what people say about reformed felons.  You must learn how to take the emotional chains off, emotionally you may feel as though you are not free, although you have been physically set free.  Refuse to allow prejudice people to link you to your past.  A lot of times, people’s words are so cruel and they can make you feel as though you were already imprisoned, even before you committed the crime, this is why we have criminals.  However, the key is to do your best to ignore their negative judgments about you.

As you constantly heal your damaged emotions, next began to find success mentors to adhere, whether they be ministers, motivational speakers or a friend who becomes a good counselor, get all the lessons you can about becoming a successful person.  Get all the inspiration you can about preparing yourself for success.  You may disagree on different opinions, but realize no one is perfect, all you are doing is opening up to take good wisdom to become a success and whatever your mentor speaks that you disagree with, do not allow it to stop you from listening taking their wisdom.  A lot of people fail, because they get so mad at their mentor’s philosophy and miss out on good advice that may very well make them the so successful, they would never have to financially depend on anyone to give them a job, but become leaders over their own desired lucrative ventures.

successful_convicted_felonsRealize you have choices just like anyone else and whatever you think you would be good at, study it. Go to your nearest library and see if they have books on your chosen career and if it is a hobby like painting, designing automobiles or fashion, you could have your own business and market it to companies that could give you a million dollar deal.  Do a google search on how to write business plans or you could just view this website.  If you feel you have a potential to lead others, then you should create a business plan that you could present to business executives who would invest in your idea, product or business operation.  Once you focus on your capabilities, it will not be difficult for you to find out what is going to make you financially independent.  Jobs are good, if you can get employed, but because they are not always open for convicted felons, be fair to yourself and start your own business.  Many times, you cannot start a business without start-up costs, so this is why you should meet with business executives to assist your business plan into an actual success, in doing so will not only earn you money, but will earn investors a big profit and this is how you can continue to succeed, regardless of having no money or any sort of education.  You can become book educated and include all you have learned while communicating with potential investors.

When planning your lucrative business and succeed, make sure you do not forget about those who have been where you have and maybe looking for the same opportunity, either mentor them individually, to succeed just like you or start a program for an entire team to persevere as business owners.  When you share your testimony with convicted felons who have no dreams, then you can show them how to dream and make a better society.  This is why it is so very important for you never to give up, even if you are still incarcerated, you have got to have faith and be determined to place your life in God hands.
