This is not the first couple that used a hoax to get famous.  First, it was the prior reality guests on Wife Swap, the Heenes who pulled a hoax to gain public attention for their own future reality show by making America believe their son had disappeared in a giant Myler balloon and now Tareq and Michaele Salahi pull a stunt like this one.  Sources say, the Salahi’s are also soon to be appearing reality show in Northern Virginia, The Real Housewives of D. C.   See photos here on Michaele facebook page.  If you look at them here on CNN, you can tell Tareq and Michaele Salahi look very uncomfortable and do not even know how to take pictures in front of the camera.

This could be a worse memory of a lifetime for Tareq and Michaele Salahi, because the Feds say they are breaking the law by lying to the United States secret service men and they did lie.  The Salahi’s violated a security breach for the White House at the Obama administration’s biggest social event to date.  Edwin M. Donovan, a Secret Service special agent said the Secret Service checkpoint “did not follow proper procedures” to make sure the Salahi’s were actually on the guest list for the dinner, but believed them.   However, they both went through magnetometers and other levels of security, like everyone else.

Tareq and Michaele Salahi are facing a felony charge, all because they wanted to be famous.  It was not enough for them to have a little fame on their upcoming reality show, The Real Housewives of D. C.  We suppose some people cannot wait for just a taste of fame, but yearn to rush to be among the high ranking officials and social elites.
