On Sunday, Shaniya Davis was laid to rest at Manna Church in Fayetteville, N. C. It was a public funeral to honor a 5-year-old girl who was raped and murdered. The lifeless body was discovered on the side of a road where the killer, Mario McNeill said it would be. It is so unfair the there was a celebration of her home-going, all because her mother fail to pay Mr. McNeill money she owed him for drugs. Shaynia Davis did not deserve to die so young for the debt owed by her mother. Before she died, her mother sold her for prostitution.
Obviously, the grandmother of Shaniya Davis defends Antoinette Nicole Davis, claiming that she did not harm any of her kids, but there is one important question, one needs to ask this selfish grandmother, “Isn’t is harmful to sell a child for sex? Isn’t it harmful to give away a child for a debt Antoinette could not pay? Did Antoinette harm little Shaniya by allowing drug trafficking in her home?”
Shaniya’s father, Bradley Lockhart could hardly speak at the funeral, barely able to express his thoughts about heaven to his daughter.

I just want to say this is one of the most horrible stories I could ever imagine, that tragically is real. God Help her mother’s soul, because she needs you.
This is a horrible story but God is with her family and helping them get through this. We pray that her mother seeks God for deliverance.
