What in the world is really going on? Wasn’t it enough that Michael Jackson lied to the public most of his  life about why he lightened his skin- but now we have former Chicago Cubs baseball great Sammy Sosa appearing to do the same thing.

Ok, now… there is nothing that he can try and tell us why his skin is so much lighter than before. What excuse could he give?

Well, according to news reports, Sammy Sosa was seen this week in Las Vegas at the Latin Grammy Awards not looking his original self. He apparently and clearly has had his skin lightened for some unknown and outrageous reason.

Latin Grammy Awards??? Oh, we get it. He wants to be Latin, Hispanic or something . He says that he has been using a ’skin softer’ and it is the reason for his skin-formation. And get this- he joked to the news on Tuesday that he plans to endorse the skin product responsible for his much whiter appearance.

What? Is he crazy or what? Why did he need to do this anyway?  Well, Sosa has reportedly stated that he is not trying to look like pop icon Michael Jackson nor does he claim to have a skin illness.

A good friend of Sammy Sosa, Rebecca Polihronis states “he is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin.”
