Shaquille O’Neal filed for divorce in 2007, but it is assumed because there is a prenuptial agreement the couple decided to remain together. Recently his wife, Va’Shaundya O’Neal filed for a legal separation based on irreconcilable differences as grounds for the split. She is seeking spousal support for Shaunie O’Neal and custody of the couple’s four children, who range in age from three to nine years-old. Her petition mentions she intends to amend her filing to seek a divorce. It is assumed she needs more time before actually filing for a divorce or just maybe she wants to get the right attorney to make sure she gets enough financial support, because a prenuptial agreement is a very serious document.

On yesterday, a jury found Curtis Lavelle Vance guilty of capital murder and other charges in the October 2008 death of Arkansas television anchor Anne Pressly. The defendant had badly beaten Pressly and she died five days later.
“Today was justice for Anne and it’s taken a year to get to it, and I know nobody’s more grateful than the parents and all of us as friends.” David Bazzel, a friend of Pressly told the press. He said the hardest part of the trial was having to listen to an account of the last moments of Pressly’s life. ”The whole thing was surreal for me,” he said. “This was not ‘CSI.’ This was not a movie. This was our friend that had to go through horrible last minutes of her life, and it’s just hard to hear that and to think that anybody could do this to anybody.”
