    THANK YOU !!!

FINALLY — SOMEONE SAID IT — AND I COULD NOT AGREE MORE !!!!

This newest song of theirs (“Close To You”) just has far, far too “romantic” of a sound to 1) be a gospel song or 2) have siblings singing it.

Recently a local radio station where I live actually played this odd song as a part of it’s late-night, romantic songs line-up.

In addition, a friend told me about someone in their dorm room playing it and a few non-Christian were around and started acting like they were about to make-out to it — until someone came along and told them it was “a religious, church song”.

What on earth were they and their record label thinking with adding that song to their CD?

Did no one every stop to think that it has “a romantic night with your spouse” tone to it (especially considering that, it’s not exactly like they are generously using words like God or Jesus in it).

    That song is NOT God-glorifying.

It is creepy and has a romantic (almost incestous – -seeing that siblings are singing it) tone to it.

No church or church-sponsored event should play it.

  2. Wow! No really! We say the same thing: FINALLY someone who agrees with Us on this one. Most people we have talked to about this subject just think its out of date and that we are just dead wrong!! We are sooooo happy that you see this for what it is. We really could have said more but gotta hold your tongue on some things. We are not surprised that people would want to share intimate moments while listening to that song. Its a love song and nothing less. You know, the sibling duo have been singing “love songs” for years but meant to be gospel songs?? That’s what happens when you let the record companies seduce you into selling your… !! Thanks so much for seeing the truth and commenting! It means soooo much to us!

Ok who ever was the creater of this website is you are wrong and evidentilly (?) not saved. You need to get that devilish spirit out of your troubled mind. Now if you were ever saved you would not (?)you actually be thinking of things that way. These songs are about god, coming from their heart. You really just created this website to stop people from listening to cecec (?) winan’s music and letting the devil speak to them in their minds. Now I will pray for you. Here is a hint go to church and invite (G) god into your heart. Now they love (G) god and I love god too he is my father. Now its your turn to love (G) god.I will pray for you and your troubled mind.I love you but you really need to stop all this nonsense. And fyi ”close to you” was a song to (G) god because they love (G) god and want to sing how much they love (G) god and want to thank for how good (G) god is.

Irrespective of what they are saying they want to convey, this is somewhat a perversion of songs we should be singing to our Lord Jesus Christ in worship (as they are similar to the Songs of Solomon), at worst ONLY between husband and wife. Brothers and sisters to continue in this format sends out a very bad message.

The Lord is coming soon, and the devil will do everything to snatch away even those elected to sit with Jesus at His table. We have seen Carlton Pearson’s case and who else is to follow? Many people will have a case to answer for on Judgement Day!
