Ryan Seacrest of American Idol and radio host is the latest celebrity who has been stalked by a crazed fan.  Do not be surprised who is next.  In the past, we have discovered celebrities like Serena Williams, Paula Abdul, Michael Jordan, Madonna, Justin Timberlake and many others have already been through what Ryan is going through now.  The question is, why do we live in a society of stalkers who are abnormally obsessed with celebrities?

Ryan Seacrest has been stalked by Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr., 25,who was arraigned on charges of felony stalking and attempted disobeying of a court order.  Uzomah pleaded not guilty to the stalking charge and is on a restraining order for three years. Fortunately, Seacrest was not at work when the stalker attacked a security guard with a knife and was in custody with LAPD officers.  Ryan Seacrest has admitted he is doing just fine.

The stalker who harassed Serena Williams is now incarcerated and really frightened her father, but Serena said the stalker was not annoying her.  Possibly, Serena was used of the harassment, after posing nude for ESPN magazine.

In the case of Michael Jordan, he had to sue his stalker for harassment.  His stalker even created a blog talking about her imaginary fantasy of her relationship with the NBA legend.  His stalker’s blog has attracted over a million hits.

In the case of Justin Timberlake, his stalker broke into his home three different times and is in psychiatric custody.

Sometimes, celebrities get in trouble with stalkers, because they were actually once actually in a sexual relationship with them and when they decide to break it off, their ex-lovers become stalkers.  There mistake becomes a real living nightmare like in the case of the Italian actor Robert Blake.  Robert Blake became very popular from his hit role in the 1970′s TV series, “Baretta” including in the 1967′s movie, “In Cold Blood.”  The story was, he met the lady he was once accused of hiring a hit man to murder his wife of only a fews months, Bonny Lee Bakley.   Robert admitted to marrying  because of her pregnancy, which previously she often tried with various other celebrities, which did not work, but when it occurred with Robert Blake, he did not know how to avoid the situation. Bonny Bakley, was shot in the head and killed while sitting in her car waiting for her husband outside of a restaurant.  He was charged with second degree murder in 2002, but was later found not guilty in 2005.  Although, he was not guilty for the murder of Bonny Bakley, he is very uncomfortable associating with other celebrities.  He has become anti-social and tries to avoid being out in the public.  He has been in a civil lawsuit with Bonny’s family $30 million wrongful-death judgment, but they were only awarded half of the amount.  Although, his attorney says he is broke, the judge refuses to grant a new trial and the Superior Court will not regard their request to throw out the judgement.

People who were close to Robert Blake said she annoyed him so much, he became very unhappy being married to her and even required for her to live at a separate residence.  He met Bonny  almost two years prior at a jazz club, he often attended and even after Bonny made her dream come true by her dream of a one-night stand with a celebrity.  A one night stand with a stranger, something a celebrity should never do. It seems like celebrities should have no trouble meeting someone, they really desire to meet among the elite.  Although, celebrities are human like everyday people, they should not always make the choices similar, but be more cautious about whom they become acquainted with.  Robert Blake made that mistake, it was too late after he impregnated Bonnie and wanted to rid her out of his life, even it meant murder.  Although, Robert Blake denied murdering Bonny, police insisted on a polygraph test.  He did not cooperate with police, simply because he admitted of always imagining of killing her (similar to O. J. Simpson’s confession) and most likely he would fail, because of it.  Although, Robert Blake adored he and Bonny’s little girl, he was miserable with his mistake of marrying Bonny and the thought of spending the rest of his life with her was indeed hell.  Possibly, Robert Blake felt if he did not marry Bonny, she would always nag him, the average mistake of a man who mistakingly impregnates a woman when all he wants is just a one time affair.  Most times, these women who nag the father of the children who happen to be celebrities become stalkers.  Either way, Robert Blake was stuck with always being in the accompany of Bonnie, a woman who always was desperate to find a man.  In the photo to the left, this is a old snapshot of Bonnie’s personals ad when she was only 23 years old.  Something is strange about the old snapshot, Bonnie lived in New Jersey, Robert Blake’s native birth place.  This is one among many nude photos of Bonny who always lived on a dangerous edge, most times asking for money in the amount of $100 or more, but would settle for $20, if that is all the men could transfer. (Note: Eventually, we may have more coverage on the Robert Blake story, but it was included to reveal how celebrities miserably come in contact with people, they may not wish to know later.  In this case of Robert Blake who was accused and acquitted of hiring a hit man to murder Bonny Bakley, he could have done something to prevent being haunted by his mistake of a one night affair, but a lot of celebrities cannot avoid estranged stalkers like in the case of actress, Rebecca Schaeffer.)

Obviously, Ryan Seacrest did not previously date his stalker, which sometimes it makes the situation much worst when yearning to stop the harassment.  What stalkers celebrities may have once met do not understand, is he or she has the right to change their mind of being acquainted with them.  Everybody makes mistake and a celebrity has the right to proceed with life in peace.  Whether, he previously knew the stalker or not, the journey of avoiding time with someone you do not desired to be bothered with is never pleasant.
