Why did this Psychiatrist soldier go crazy to kill 12 people and wound 3o others on the army base of Fort Hood? Now that he survived after being shot 4 times, possibly he can tell us why he went on a shooting rampage. It always has been said that there are some psychiatric workers who are just as insane as their clients, in this case it is proven to be true.

Two other soldiers who were detained were also said to be in connection with the deceased gunman.  The 39 year old gunman is identified as Nidal Malik Hasan was married and lived in Sandy Springs, Maryland.  Hasan was licensed in Virginia, Hasan was a psychiatrist who previously worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center but more recently was practicing at Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood. When working at Walter Reed his evaluation was scored a poor performance.  It has been said that Nidal Hasan was scheduled to be deployed to Iraq and was extremely upset about it.  He carried out the incident against mostly soldiers and also taking the life of one police officer at about 1:30 p.m. CT. Interim, soldiers were filling out paper processing and preparing to leave for Iraq or Afghanistan.  A congressional aide said he was about to attend a graduation service when he witnessed a soldier with blood on his uniform.  Analysts do not think this was a terrorist attack, but the shooter along with a two other soldiers plotted to kill, if they had to leave for deployment.

Fort Hood is home to the Warrior Combat Stress Reset Program and Soldier’s Readiness Center, which is designed to help soldiers overcome combat stress issues before deploying to Iraq or Afghanistan.  Recently, two soldiers committed suicide.

Governor Rick Perry was on his way from Denton to Dallas when he heard about the incident and does not want to blame security for what happened at Fort Hood.

A relative of a soldier says although her son is okay, she is concerned for the shooter, because obviously he lost his mind and was in serious trouble not knowing how to get help for himself.

President Barack Obama called the shooting incident horrific and gives his condolences to the families of the victims.  The question is, what change should occur in regard to soldiers being deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan.  Since our President promoted the CHANGE campaign, possibly there needs to be an urgent change in regards for our American soldiers who are not taking the transitions, so easy.
