This father of Apkoka, Florida for shooting his step-daughter’s boyfriend, after catching them both having intercourse? On Thursday of October 15, Wade Edwards allowed his anger to get out of hand when he shot his 16-year old daughter’s boyfriend with a .45 caliber hand gun. Edwards called 911 and confessed he had just shot someone inside his house, but when the police arrived, they saw the victim, Juilian Harp laying on the grass in front of Edwards‘ Emerson Park subdivision home. Edwards daughter said her step-father consented to them having sexual relations, but Edwards said he shot him because he never saw him before. The victim told police he pleaded for his life, but Edwards shot him, anyway. Edwards is now trying to change his story to get out of jail, but police say he went too far.

AT2W Staff Judge Dismisses Request to Throw Out Casey Anthony Murder Charge

Update: Stan Strikland dismissed a request to throw out criminal charges against a Florida mother accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter. He ruled Casey Anthony’s attorneys did not meet the requirements needed for a dismissal of the first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse charges. Her attorneys said the charges were based on “circumstantial and speculative” evidence and she should be set free. The prosecutor in the Anthony case, Linda Drane Burdick said the defense attorneys’ motion was insufficient and riddled with errors. Florida state is still seeking the death penalty in this case. It seems as though the trial for Casey will continue and will be difficult for her attorneys to find some reason to dismiss the case. Attorney Jose Baez has to think of another strategy since now he has become a household name and definitely could be considered a high profile attorney, if he should win the case against Casey Anthony. To remind you, earlier in this case, Attorney Baez has said Casey had been faced with racial discrimination, because of her being Latino descent.
